Tell us a little bit about yourself and LCB Style?

I am a 25 year old fashion and travel blogger based in Palm Beach, Florida (born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama). In addition to creating content for my website (lcbstyle.com) and Instagram (@lcbstyle), I work with freelance photography and marketing clients to bring their stories to life digitally.

What does your home say about you?

My home is the breath of fresh air that I look forward to coming home to after a busy day of photoshoots and client meetings. I chose to use mainly soft colors, natural woven elements and a few white pieces of furniture to keep the space really light and coastal feeling- which I think reflects a bit of my personal style as well.

Walk us through how you styled your apt with our Denton curtains!

In my last space, I really got carried away with lots of blush pink, so I wanted to add more blue and white into my apartment this time around. When I came across the Denton curtains, I knew the abstract geometric pattern would be perfect to dress up my windows. I always tell friends and followers that curtains make the biggest single impact when decorating and making a place really feel like “home.”

Not every window is the same, which is why we offer custom curtains at a length that works for you. How did you decide what curtain length to choose?

Pepper makes it super simple to order custom curtains! My apartment building was built in the early 1900s, so I wouldn’t exactly say everything is straight and even as far as walls and floors go. I loved that I was able to measure and order the perfect length of curtains- down to the very inch. I also found the Pepper website to be extremely user friendly. The entire process felt super custom and special without having to hire an interior designer. I was so excited when the curtains arrived so beautiful and ready to hang!

We’re obviously all about accessorizing! Tell us a little bit about your curtain rod choice!

While choosing curtains feels like picking out a dress, choosing rods feels like picking out the perfect statement earrings to complete the look! I was thrilled when I found out about the Lux Holdups rods that remind me of some of my favorite fashion boutiques’ dressing rooms. The lucite and brass design combination is the perfect mix of modern glam that accents the Denton curtains so beautifully.

Any tips for decorating an apartment on a budget?

When beginning to decorate a new space, lists are my best friend. I usually create a long list of everything I’d like to accomplish then choose where to splurge and where to save. You definitely can mix high and low pieces to achieve a balanced yet beautiful look. I have always found curtains to be a fundamental element that really bring the space to life, so they have always been a big priority for me. My best budgeting tip is to shop sales and have patience. Don’t feel like a space has to be fully complete right when you move in. Take the time to find pieces you love and wait for them to go on sale!
