01. First off, tell us a little bit about yourself!

I am a wife, mother, and lifestyle blogger. I have an affinity for all things old, like our 1924 colonial home, blue and white, and traditional home decor.
02. What was your design vision for the dining room?

I wanted a traditional look that stands the test of time. I didn’t want to have to redo this room in a couple years. I filled it with things I’ve always loved–lots of hints of blue and white! The subtle block print on the shades of the chandelier and the Alice curtains, which make a wonderful bold statement, all tie into the flower blue plates I have hanging on the wall. Both my table and my buffet are from thrift stores. I really love mixing old with new!
03. How did you decide which construction type was right for your space?
I just love pinch pleat, and I think they look great in a dining room!
04. We’re obviously all about accessorizing! Tell us a little bit about your curtain rod choice!
I used a Crate and Barrel brass french return. I have them in a couple spots in my house, and I just love them!
