Details
  • Made to order; cut and sewn in the USA
  • Looking for a gimp match? Choose ivory with this material.
  • Our shades operate with a cordless mechanism using a white metal ring pull to lift and lower. View Operating Instructions
  • Unlined, privacy, or room-darkening lining options are available; while room-darkening lining significantly reduces light, some light leakage is a natural characteristic of woven wood shades
  • Privacy and room-darkening shades feature a color-matched lining, which is white on the exterior side
  • Shades cover 8-16” of the window when fully raised
  • Choose inside mount for a clean, streamlined look; we suggest outside mount for elevated privacy and light control
  • The height of the scallop is 1”; the length of a scalloped shade refers to the lowest point
  • Made with handwoven, natural material. Woven woods have inherent color variation and natural fiber texture
  • Shades can be used in a well-ventilated bathroom without exposure to excessive moisture. We do not recommend applying protective sprays or treatments.
Measuring

Calculate your dimensions with our Calculator; for more guidance, see our Measurement Guide

Measuring by shade style:

  • Flat: height = longest point
  • Scallop: height = long point of scallop

Inside Mount:

  • Requires a minimum of 1.5" window depth.
  • Measure the distance between the inner edges of the window frame. We will subtract 1/2" from the width provided to ensure proper side clearance.

Outside Mount:

  • Requires 4.5" of flat mounting space above the window molding. If your molding is thicker or protrudes from the wall, we recommend allowing 6"+.
  • For extra light coverage, we suggest measuring to 2" below the sill.

Maximum dimensions for a 1.5" headrail depth:

  • Width: up to 36", maximum length = 54"
  • Width: up to 60", maximum length = 36"
  • Width: > 60", must have 2.5" headrail depth

    Textured Perfection — Highly Recommend

Love these Pepper Home Cider scalloped shades! They arrived in under two weeks and the installation was quick and easy — no fuss at all. The woven texture adds such nice depth and warmth, and the scalloped detail gives them a polished, tailored look that elevates the whole window. They look terrific, adding a really elegant, finished touch to the room. Highly recommend if you're looking for shades that combine style with simplicity.
