Featuring a whimsical design of birds and flowers, the Daphne collection—available in four colorways—is a must for any color lover. We asked designers to share their tips on how to style our Daphne pillows, curtains, wallpaper, and more. Whether you opt to decorate with Daphne in Powder, Rose, Cream, or Canary, you’ll be well equipped to do so thanks to this expert advice.
Use Bed Pillows to Make A Statement
No bedroom is complete without a couple of throw pillows—or an entire handful! Anais Chaumien of Design by Anais envisions styling Daphne throw pillows on a bed so that they truly pop. “Pair them with solid bedding: either a very light neutral (white or cream), or a dark blue,” the designer instructs.
Get Playful With Wallpaper
It’s safe to say that Daphne wallpaper is tons of fun. If you do wish to go all out with this energetic print, Chaumien suggests doing so in a smaller space, such as a powder room or nursery, for a pretty, playful look. Not ready to commit to fully wallpapering your space? An accent wall makes for an excellent compromise and would look beautiful in a bedroom, Chaumien says. Consider installing it behind a bed in lieu of a statement headboard.
Work the Pattern Into the Bathroom
Vivian Robins of Vivian Robins Design suggests working the Daphne fabric into a main bathroom. “Adding this elegant, yet nostalgic fabric on an oversized picture window as a café curtain behind a pedestal tub in a primary bath accentuates the pattern and its timeless appeal,” she explains. Once you’ve done so, don’t forget to finish off the look with some paint. “The most lovely color by Benjamin Moore—Ballet Slipper—draws out the beauty of the Daphne Rose, so I would splash it on all the walls,” Robins notes.
Hang Bright Yellow Statement Curtains
Like wallpaper and artwork, curtains are an excellent way to make a bold statement in any space. Chaumien likes the idea of installing bright yellow Daphne Canary Custom Curtains as a way to add some major visual interest to a room. “I would keep the rest of the room to a minimum, so the curtains are the real focal points of the space,” she offers.
