Frida Blue Wallpaper: Bluest Bedroom
For our first space, we couldn't resist styling a classic blue bedroom around our new Frida blue wallpaper! Since we love it when the drapes match the walls, we used our Frida blue fabric for curtains as well! For the big pieces we stuck to more blue hues with a modern hand loomed rug in denim from LD Shoppe and raffia four poster bed from Serena & Lily. For top of bed, we went with timeless scalloped bedding by Matouk and added some flavor with our Emma sky euro sham pillow with sky blue piping.
To balance all of the blue, we selected some neutral pieces. We opted for a grasscloth dresser in cream from Dear Keaton, rope nightstand from Mecox, Kim Salmela bench and PlaceK wing chair with rattan trim and seagrass rope. To round-out our cozy corner of this bedroom, we added our Denton sky lumbar pillow and an azure blue stool from Mecox to function as a little side table! Finishing touches for this space came by way of brass sconces by Coleen & Company, Aerin stone white table lamps and a deep blue glass vase by Stories of Italy. With all of these luxurious shades of blue, you will never fail to get a good night's sleep in this bedroom!
Frida Green Wallpaper: Luxe Living Room
As you know by now, we're currently crushing on a strong blue and green color combo. We styled a very fall-feeling living space around our very favorite Frida green wallpaper. To keep this space sophisticated we opted for bigger pieces that drew our some of the richer hues from the wallpaper. We opted for a classic blue velvet sofa from Lulu & Georgia and paired that with a neutral flatweave rug from abc home to really anchor the room. Since we always like to keep it fun, we incorporated a Virginia Kraft for Casa Cosmina slipper chair (we would do a pair) and styled it with our Frida green lumbar pillow with moss piping. For the blue velvet couch, we layered on our Haworth 22" standard pillow with navy piping and James baby alpaca throw in sky.
To get back to some of the richer tones we love, we incorporate a walnut console table and tiered side table which are both from Brooke & Lou. For some added dimension and a little glam we incorporated gold tones via a gilded iron and stone coffee table from Serena & Lily and a gild flush mount by Aerin. Finally, to pull out the green in our Frida we added a ceramic stool from Jayson Home, table lamp by Visual Comfort and Kate Scialabba art from Fete Home!
Frida Pink Wallpaper: Dream Dining Room
With restaurants feeling relatively off-limits right now, a great dining room seems more important than ever. We styled this colorful, chic space around our best-selling Frida pink wallpaper. Since this print can read traditional and we wanted this space to have a modern vibe, we started with a bold wool, pot dyed rug in green from ABC home and oval tulip dining table by Knoll. We love mixing and matching and we're not just talking about patterns—unexpected furniture pairings always give a room a unique feel. With that in mind, we thought that using blue rattan dining chairs from Brooke & Lou achieved a nice balance when juxtaposed against the tulip table.
To keep this room feeling clean, we opted for a rich brown grasscloth credenza from Dear Keaton as our last big piece of furniture. We love how this color really drew out the more neutral tones of the Frida wallpaper and helped to balance the bold choice we made with our green rug. We envisioned a pair of Aerin blue table lamps to live on this credenza and frame the Bill Tansey work we selected. Finally, we chose this pendant chandelier from Jayson Home to bring a bit more whimsy to the room!
We can never resist a good tablescape and added a few pieces that we thought would look perfect in this cheerful yet chic space. We stuck to the green theme with Este Ceramiche green splatter dinner plates, our Loomi green tablecloth and Frida napkins. Added some textured neutrals to ground our bold color choices via Themis Z ceramic vases from Matches Fashion, Tahitian placemats with Aqua finish and bamboo cutlery from Edition 94 and Zafferano tumblers from Land of Bell. Just add a delish meal to the mix and Bon Appetite!
