Say hello to our new Classics Collection, filled with beautiful striped and gingham patterns in a range of colorways. The options for styling these fabrics and wallpapers are truly limitless; here, seven different interior designers share how they would go about weaving some of the styles in this collection in various rooms of the home.
Embrace Unexpected Red
The philosophy behind the unexpected red theory is that adding red to any space where it wouldn’t ordinarily go will automatically make a room appear more stylish. Lauren Winsor, the founder of House of Winsor Interiors, is eager to try this theory out using Florence Bordeaux. “It has a distinctly Americana vibe without being too literal,” she says. “I want to use this in a cozy den or rec room, with Florence Bordeaux pillows alongside a Midnight and Cream Fringe pillow on an Oat linen sofa. “Or better yet, use Florence Bordeaux on a traditional club chair with a Millie Harbor petite lumbar pillow in a room of antique finds!”
Dress up Your Seaside Space
Furnishing a coastal home? Winsor finds Margot Fern to be perfect for the job. “It would be fabulous as a relaxed roman shade in a beach house guest room,” she says. “You could easily layer Snow or Sea pinch pleat curtains for a luxurious look.” Don’t forget about your bedding, either. “To achieve the perfect mix of coastal elegance, try a rattan headboard and crisp white bedding topped with two euro pillows in Sea with a Snow Pom Pom,” the designer shares, noting that she would place a Margot Fern bolster pillow at the front of the bed. “If you really want to make it memorable, keep the coordination going with Margot Fern as a gathered bedskirt,” she adds.
Get Preppy
Natalie Howe, the founder of Natalie Howe Design, is drawn to the timelessness of the Classics Collection. “The Louisa Harbor pattern immediately caught my eye, evoking the charm of a preppy New England summer,” she says. “It’s the perfect blend of casual and refined, making it an ideal choice for a summer home—picture it on accent chairs or an ottoman, effortlessly stylish and full of coastal character.”

Style a Chic Game Room
Put together a game room that friends will rave about using a mix of fabrics from the Classics Collection and beyond. “Try four skirted chairs on casters upholstered in Florence Rosewood, with Cosmo solid velvet peeking through the pleats of the skirt—and as the welting on each chair—around a rattan game table,” suggests Becky Asleson, the founder of Maple & White Design. “A tablecloth made in Millie Harbor, which has a smaller scale pattern, provides a nice contrast to the larger stripe on the chairs,” she adds. The designer envisions papering the ceiling using Daphne Powder and hanging Serena Pink linen drapes. “They help tie in the pink and maroon from the chairs but keep the space feeling airy because of their white background and lighter weight,” Asleson says.

Design a Sweet Dining Nook
Give a dining nook some love with the help of Millie Moss. “The classic gingham in green is fresh and I can see it paired with the more whimsical, feminine Daphne Cream, which picks up the same green while also bringing in blues and pinks,” says designer Darlene Molnar, the founder of an eponymous firm. “In my mind's eye, I see the Millie Moss as cushions on café chairs with Daphne Cream nearby, maybe as a tablecloth or drapes.”
Go Blue and Green in the Den
Create a den you’ll never want to leave using blues and greens from the Classics Collection, suggests Danielle Perdue. “I would love to see an upholstered ottoman as the coffee table Florence Harbor paired with a super comfy but compact apartment-sized sofa in Fern solid velvet with simple tapered legs in a natural oak,” says the founder of DK Home. No cozy spot is complete without pillows, and Perdue envisions bringing in a few in Margot Fern and Louisa Harbor.

Mix Patterns Within One Color Palette
Laura Chappetto, the founder of Element Design Network, always enjoys mixing patterns in her projects and finds the Classics Collection to be great for doing so. “When you mix and match patterns, you create a customized look which instantly elevates the overall aesthetic of your space,” she says. “Be sure to select a cohesive color palette and use patterns of different scales to ensure success.” Chappetto recommends first finding a focal point—in this case, she’s opted for Suzy Maroon wallpaper. “Now, we want to select something more structured and calming like the wide stripe of Florence Rosewood, which would make beautiful drapery,” she says. “Then, add in a smaller pattern such as the Willow Orchid in an accent such as your custom throw pillows.” A combination of patterns like these, she explains, is well-thought out and visually pleasing. “You have layered your patterns in different elements throughout the room and have kept your overall palette cohesive, which has created incredible visual interest without being overwhelming,” Chappetto says.
