Meet Eneia, the lead designer at her eponymous firm, Eneia White Interiors! She recently participated in the 2021 Rooms With A View charity event, where 12 designers remodeled an 8' x 6' "room" based on the theme "Go Big or Go Home." Her room concept highlighted an over-the-top dining experience featuring our Frida Green Curtain. Follow along to learn more!
First off, tell us a little bit about yourself and Eneia White Interiors!
Eneia White Interiors is a New York-Based interior design firm, specializing in modernized but classic interiors with charming palettes! We’re known for telling stories through our designs, and thinking through what the end-user is trying to express through color, pattern and texture.
What was your design vision for the Rooms With A View space?
We wanted to create a room where two friends could just chat about life, enjoy their favorite foods, and make heartfelt memories. We had a concept of an enchanted forest, so we leaned into a nature-inspired room pulling from color palettes you might find outside your window.
Frida Green is a fan-favorite at Pepper. What led you to the pattern for the curtains?
We love that Frida looks like a traditional print from afar, but upon closer inspection, it takes on a playful appearance!
Can you tell us about the other products/vendors you chose?
Our Madegoods faux-shagreen dining table and rattan chairs set the tone for our space. They’re dynamic without taking on a masculine feeling. Sherwin William’s color of the year is Evergreen Fog, so we decided to highlight the color on our walls as a nod to nature and realization that green can be warm and inviting! The area rug by Loloi was an Amber Interiors collaboration, and we love how much it warmed up the space!
We’re firm believers that curtains finish off any space. Why is it important to incorporate window treatments into designs for your clients?
Drapery panels have the opportunity to tie together your color palette, so we try to have at least 2-3 colors present from the panels, throughout the room.
